The easy walk of the Matheysine plateau. It alternates between shorelines and viewpoints over the Grand Serre, the Taillefer and the lakes — plenty of shade, and Pétichet beach for a swim on the way back.

Getting there
~8 min from the house. Take the N85 to Pétichet (Saint-Théoffrey); at the traffic lights, follow the route de la Fayolle for ~300 m to the Miradou car park (toilets), below the Olivier Messiaen viewpoint.
